Today it is sunny and pretty outside...and I am at work
Ryan is on Spring Break and Adam is off...whoa is me
So...they decided to take Adams sweet Grammy (June Hamilton) aka Ryan's Great Grammy to the Bowers Museum today in Santa Ana. They saw the exhibit Secrets of the Silk Road, and they all really enjoyed it.
Funny back story:Grammy was forced to retire at the end of 2009. She wanted to continue working at the doctors office she has been employed at, however they said she was too much of a liability because she could fall and hurt herself. She was very bitter, and is still having a rough time transitioning to being a stay at home Grandma. She enjoys working and and she says she doesn't want to sit around like an old woman.
When lunch came Adam and Grammy let Ryan choose whatever he wanted to eat. Ryan chose Taco Bell.
Adam sent me this sweet picture of Ryan and his Great Grammy (excuse the poor quality it is taken on a cell phone) This picture made me smile..and made me happy that the boys took Grammy out on a special day and that Ryan has the opportunity to get to know her and hear all of her cool stories...and ride on her motorized scooter!
