Life Satisfaction

So I started my new semester today at school. While in a class my teacher made the comment of "Well I hope 50 is not the age of life satisfaction." And it made me think well why the heck not. Why shouldn't we have 100% life satisfaction for today, for the moment, because life satisfaction is everywhere we look. I feel like although I am still going to school and still don't have my degree...and even if I am on the "Thick" side of being in shape...I am 100% satisfied with who I am, with my family, with life, and with my faith of what is going to happen after this life. I look around at the beauty of the earth and think why the heck not be satisfied. So think to yourself today am I 100% satisfied and if I am not what do I need to get there?

I love this Boy

I just have to say that I love this boy. Having a five year old is the BEST. Plus the other day I was upset about people not being to kind to me so I teared up. His response was "Sometimes kids are not nice to me and wont play with me at preschool...but I know when I come home you and Daddy love me...and Jesus loves me to....so just remember mom, me and Daddy love you and so does Jesus." Although Ryan keeps me on my feet I wouldn't trade this experience of being his mom for anything!

Beach Wahoos and my two Favorite People...YES PLEASE!!

So Last month me and the hubby and Ryan went down to the beach just to enjoy the weather and have some quality time together. We walked around, Ryan cruised on his scooter, we hit wahoos, and Ryan decided he would take a dip. It was such an amazing day..it makes me appreciate the little things in life like love, cheap fish tacos, and the beauty of the earth!

THE GREAT BAMBINO!

Ryan and I have deemed Thursday nights our new official "Movie Night". We have decided that each week we will take turns picking the movie...so this week was my pick and due to the fact that we just signed Ryan up for Little League (I am so excited for games, practice, grass stains, and Saturdays under the hot sun at a baseball diamond) I thought that "The Sandlot" would be the perfect choice...its a classic...we both giggled...and it was a ton of fun! The movie started to get Ryan excited to practice an be on a team. During our movie night Ryan revealed that he has a crush on Ms. Jennifer (one of his preschool teachers) she is very attractive...Ryan told me and I quote "she makes my heart on fire"....it was just last month all girls had cooties and then boom he is way interested in girls...what the??? So now we are going to have to watch him..and hopefully he will find a group of boys that can convince him that girls really DO have cooties!! In conclusion though Ryan gave Sandlot two thumbs up...and officially thinks he is the new "Benny Rodriguez"

Fun Factoid: The pool where the boys swim and Squints kissed Wendy Peffercorn is a pool in Ogden Utah where both my Mom and Dad swam as kids.
